Your storybooks DO actually live!

After the warehouse closes...

Each story comes to life...

This show was performed inside a very large book storage warehouse.
The audience sat in front of the massive rows of warehouse shelving.

The first shelf was wrapped in white paper creating a 26-meter projection surface.

The story of the show took place after closing hours -as the stories & the characters from each storybook -comes out to play…

Performers were first seen behind the paper screen in silhouette, then burst from the paper -ripping through it -&, out into the warehouse playground..

The show was performed with a combination and integration of graphic animation, live musicians -an aerial violinist, DJ’s, live graffiti artists, aerial performers, dancers and hip-hop artists and a choreographed “forklift ballet” (performed live by the Maskew Miller Longman warehouse staff).

The “story” of this show literally “burst” from the warehouse shelves & pages of the books stacked within them -coming to life in front of the audience.
